I know, you saw the word therapy and flinched, didn’t you?

Well, let me tell you, therapy is a process that can introduce you to tools to interrupt all those struggles, conflicts, and uncertainties in your life. You have been as strong as you know how to be with everything going on in your life. Now, you can be even more courageous by doing something needed for yourself. So, be proud of yourself for even looking into counseling services, and know that you do not have to do this part alone.

My Approach

Compassionate Therapy

The Way I Work with You

In our sessions together, I strive to be warm, interactive, respectful, and culturally inclusive as you trust me with the most important person in your life–you. I hope in our sessions you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the current or past experiences that have impacted your life. I also hope you feel supported in gaining the tools to increase the feeling of being fulfilled and empowered in your life and relationships in the safest, most non-judgmental way possible.

I practice several different therapy approaches depending on you and your treatment needs. Some of these strategies may include Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Therapies. These approaches and I have worked well together for over 16 years with other clients, and I enjoy tailoring them with you to meet your individual goals.
